High Lonesome Skyranch wasn't planned — it was felt. The kind of feeling that rises when you spend enough time in the high desert around Minden, breathing air that clears your thoughts and makes you hungry for something real.
We started baking in a small kitchen with a wood-fired oven and a stubborn belief that Minden deserved better than the last grocery store loaf. Word spread. The sourdough traveled first — then the pastries, then the pantry items we couldn't find anywhere else and decided to source ourselves.
Today, everything that leaves our kitchen carries the same standard: ingredients you can name, methods that take time, and a respect for the people who drive down Juniper Valley Ranch Road just to taste something made right.
